Guide to enrolling your child

Congratulations you have decided to register your interest or enrol at Evoke Early Learning!

We can’t wait to share your child’s learning journey with you but before we get started there are a few more steps to follow.

Step 1: Register Your Interest – unless previously completed

Visit the Evoke Early Learning website to register your enquiry at the Albert Park service. Registering your name and interest is free and the best way to start. Our team will be in touch to arrange a tour of the service and further enrolment.

Step 2: Complete a Service Tour

Tours are conducted Monday - Friday between 6.30am -6.30pm. You can use this time to ask any questions you may have and take a look at our beautiful learning environments.

Step 3: Complete Enrolment Form

You will then need to communicate that you would like to accept a position at Evoke for your child. Once we have availability for your intended days, you will receive an email which contains an enrolment offer from Evoke. The email contains a link to our online enrolment form. You will need to complete the form before the offer expiry date. You will need to upload your child’s birth certificate, immunisation history statement and pay a $100 enrolment fee to secure your child's position. Check you have added your child’s CRN and primary carer CRN to ensure CCS can be processed.

Step 4: Confirm your Orientation and Start Date

The enrolment form asks you to confirm your start date and nominate two days in the week before starting when you can complete two orientation sessions with your child. These sessions are two hours in length and require you to stay onsite. Orientations are conducted Monday - Friday between 11.30am - 1.30pm and 2.00pm -4.00pm. Before your first orientation you will receive an email confirming your child's place at Evoke.

Step 5: Orientation Session One

In the first orientation session you will receive: a Parent Handbook, door code, an invitation to Storypark (Documents your child's learning journey), an invitation to Sharepoint (Contains Evoke Early Learning Policies), a link to Xplor (Attendance, bookings, statements, CCS submissions and key health information about your children) Instructions on how to download Storypark for families and Xplor Home. The staff will ask lots of questions to gain information about your child and their routine. If your child has any specific needs please discuss this with the team. This session is a great opportunity to meet the team and to ask any questions you may have.

Step 6: Orientation Session Two

  • In the second orientation session you will meet with the Nominated Supervisor to ensure all documentation is complete and that you are connected to all platforms. This takes approximately 30 minutes and we suggest you do this when your child is settled and comfortable.
  • Once you have connected to Storypark you can read our latest community posts that contain important information about the service. You can also invite grandparents and relatives to share in your child's learning journey.
  • Once you have set up your Xplor account, navigate to the finance tab to add your payment details. To complete the CCS set up you will need to sign the CWA. This can again be done through the finance tab in the parent hub.
  • If you are eligible, you’ll need to apply for a Centrelink Subsidy (CCS) which, can be done on MyGov. We suggest doing this as soon as possible because Centrelink can take a while to process this.

Step 7: Preparing For Your First Day

The first day is a fun and exciting time. Ensure all belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name, including clothing. Pack your child’s bag with a water bottle, sun safe hat and spare clothes.

Step 8: You Are Ready to Go
